How EzyCalculator researches, tests and explains calculations.

Formula selection
We use established mathematical identities, standard unit relationships and clearly stated domain conventions. Where a result depends on assumptions, the calculator identifies them near the result.
Source hierarchy
When a method depends on an external standard, definition or guidance, we prefer the responsible government agency, standards organization, regulator or original scientific authority. We do not substitute general SEO articles when an appropriate primary source is available.
Verification
Core calculation functions are tested with known reference values, boundary cases and invalid inputs. Display rounding happens after the underlying calculation so it does not compound through intermediate steps.
Review and corrections
Calculator definitions store a review date, shown with their source metadata. We review tools when formulas, standards or source material change. If you spot a problem, send the calculator URL, your inputs, expected result and the result shown to hello@ezycalculator.net.
Sources and scope
Calculator pages expose their formula, a worked example, assumptions, methodology and relevant sources. Financial and health outputs are estimates for general information, not professional advice.
