EzyCalculator
Privacy policy
How EzyCalculator handles data and protects your privacy.

Calculator inputs
Ordinary calculator and converter inputs are processed in your browser. They are not sent to EzyCalculator, Google Analytics or stored as account data. Avoid entering confidential or identifying information.
Essential local storage
Theme choice, unit and precision preferences, calculator IDs with recent-use timestamps, and your consent choice may be stored on your device. These functions do not require analytics consent. Input values are not saved in recent history. Clear them through site controls or your browser’s site-data settings.
Currency conversion
Currency queries are the exception to local-only calculation: the amount and three-letter currency codes are sent to Frankfurter to request a current reference rate. No stale or hard-coded rate is substituted when that request fails.
Google Analytics 4
When configured and only after you accept analytics, EzyCalculator uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, sessions, broad device and browser information, approximate location, pages viewed, calculator IDs used and broad event categories such as a completed calculation. We use this information to improve navigation, reliability and investment in useful tools. Calculator values, raw search text, names, email addresses and user IDs are not deliberately sent. Page URLs sent to Analytics exclude query strings so shareable calculation values are not included.
Cookies and consent
Google Analytics uses basic consent mode globally: the Google tag is blocked and no analytics data is sent before acceptance. If accepted, GA4 may set first-party _ga and _ga_<property-id> cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization and Google Signals remain disabled. EzyCalculator stores your choice locally so it can be respected on later visits.
Retention and providers
The GA4 property should use the shortest practical user-level and event-level retention setting; standard GA4 offers 2-month or 14-month settings. GA4 cookies may have a default lifetime of up to two years, subject to browser limits and property configuration. Analytics information is processed by Google under Google’s applicable terms and privacy controls. Aggregated standard reports may be retained separately from user-level exploration data.
Managing your preferences
Use the “Privacy choices” button displayed on the site to accept, reject or later withdraw optional analytics. Withdrawing sends a denied consent update, removes first-party GA cookies where possible and reloads the page without the Google tag. It does not erase information already included in aggregate reports. You may also clear cookies and local storage through browser settings.
Future advertising consent
Advertising is not currently enabled. Before introducing AdSense, EzyCalculator will implement a Google-certified CMP integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework where Google requires it, including for relevant visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland. The current analytics preference interface is not represented as an AdSense-certified CMP.
Other external services
Social tracking is disabled, and fonts are hosted locally. Authoritative source links contact their destination only if you choose to open them. This policy will be updated if the services actually used by EzyCalculator change.
